A great sermon. I really liked the practical application of the story to growing up as a child, being a youth worker and the tasks of parenting and being a part of a community. When we lived in Israel/Palestine we often traveled the road to Emmaus. Nearby there is a monastery where nuns live in community and provide refuge for whoever comes along. We have a very close friend there.
